On most maps it is still listed as EAGLE BEND, however, to the locals it is Eagle Lake. Located north of Vicksburg. 14 miles from the intersection of Hwy 61N & Hwy 465. Approx 4700 acres in size, the lake is large enough for all watersports and recreation. Eagle Lake is one of largest Oxbow lakes in Mississippi, a popular destination for weekend getaway's, family vacations and holidays, not to mention the sport fisherman. Many fishing tournaments are hosted at the lake every year. Other community events include, holiday pontoon parade , mardi gras parade, and lake fest in May. Amenities include, one public boat ramp, with large parking lot, courtesy piers and public bathroom. Country convenience store with grocery's gas, bait and fishing license. 2 beautiful churches that congregate every Sunday. Limited weekend rentals available with reservations.
