Lewiston Lake is a reservoir impounded by Lewiston Dam on the Trinity River. Lewiston Lake is near the towns of Weaverville and Lewiston in Trinity County, California. Trinity County is in the northwestern part of California. As of the 2010 census, the population was 13,786, making it the fourth least-populous county in California. Lewiston lake is in the Shasta-Trinity National Forest a federally designated forest in northern California.
